When February rolls around, Cupid is the reason for the season and love is in the air here at Boston Burger Company. We know that planning for Valentine’s Day can seem intimidating and stressful. You may be thinking that you need to find the perfect candlelit dinner and wondering where you can purchase a hundred roses on such short notice. We’re here to remind you that sometimes the simple, more casual dates are the best, and all it takes is some burgers and a freak frappe to remind someone of how much you love them. After all, nothing says love like some juicy beef, right?
Here at BBC, we take Valentine’s Day seriously, but we remember not to take ourselves too seriously. The only pressure you should be feeling on Valentine’s Day is which burger you’re going to choose from our delicious menu. Oh no! What’s that? Your date is a vegetarian? Lucky for you, our veggie burger is thebomb.com. Gluten-free gal? We’ve got GF buns too. We’ve got items on the menu for just about everyone, so there’s no excuse not to come to hang with us on V-Day.
What does a perfect Valentine’s Day date look like here at BBC? Well, we’re pulling out all the stops and enjoying every course so let’s kick it off with some appetizers. Remember, it’s a holiday so calories don’t count. Start off the night nice and hot with our Inferno Fries. Being able to share french fries is one tell-tale sign of true love. These bad boys are smothered in Inferno Habanero Salsa, cheddar jack cheese, ranch, and spicy mayo. They’re sure to set your love (and your mouth) on fire.
The next part of the date is the hardest. Don’t worry, you don’t need to get down on one knee or anything. But, you do need to pick which one of our burgers you want to dine on. The vegetarian was going to order the Veggie Burger until they saw that we have a Veggie Panini stacked with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, mixed greens, and balsamic vinaigrette. Good choice, veg head. But what about our meat eater? There are just so many options, but you choose to go with The King because that’s how you want to feel tonight. Not a fan of peanut butter? Opt for the Sophie because like this burger, you’re a class act. The Sophie is stacked beautifully with prosciutto, goat cheese, candied walnuts, fig jam and mixed greens tossed in a lemon vinaigrette, balsamic reduction. The flavor and love are real.
You’ve made it past the apps and the entree, but would it really be a BBC date night if it wasn’t finished off by sharing a #FreakFrappe? We think not. While we’ve got many tasty frappes on our core menu, you’re here in February, and our monthly special is pretty legit. The Heart You Cherry Much is a frappe that is sure to tickle you pink. This treat is a Chocolate Cherry Frappe with Little Debbie Brownie Hearts, Strawberries & Cream Lollipops, M&M’s and a Chocolate Drizzle. Order one of these for you both to share, just be sure to ask for two straws!
With so many options to choose from, a casual but cozy atmosphere and portions big enough to share, there’s no reason to not choose BBC as your next date night spot. Whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart, or Galentine’s day with your best friends, nothing says “I Love You” like carbs do. All you need is love (and food).
